 CLIENT OVERVIEW:
Cheatham Cabinetmaking had been developing and building home and commercial interiors for over 10 years. The company provided a number premium contractor services which includes: Interior Trim, Custom Cabinets, Home Remodeling (including basements, kitchens and bathrooms), Flooring, Installation Architectural Millwork, Installation Accessories, and Closet Organizers.
CHALLENGE:Cheatham Cabinetmaking wanted to be known for more than just a cabinetmaking company. The company wanted people to be more in tuned with its upscale and custom interior services. Management also wanted to streamline the sales process by providing potential clients the opportunity to view their quality work before an initial client consultation.
SOLUTION:First, we recommended a corporate name change that would verbalized the company’s services; as well as an elegantly designed business card and brochure that emphasized that this was a first class company. Cheatham Cabinetmaking thereby changed its name to V.C. Interiors, Inc. Secondly, we recommended a website with a photo gallery highlighting the company’s portfolio. Finally, we suggested bringing the company’s showroom to its potential clients. This was done by having an online showroom video along with a before and after video.
RESULTS:V.C. Interiors’ sales have now increased by 20 to 30%. The company has also cut its selling process by 25% because many potential clients having previously viewed some of the company’s impressive work are already convinced of the quality craftsmanship before the initial client consultation begins.
